At the 2024 Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, I was responsible for managing and operating audio across key areas of the Paddock Zone and multiple on-site hospitality venues and restaurants. My role included: -Full audio system setup: PA placement, signal routing, and system calibration. -Microphone configuration for press conferences, public announcements, and live performers. -Real-time FOH and zone mixing, ensuring clarity and coverage in dynamic, high-traffic environments. -Coordinating with production teams and performers to adapt quickly to live scheduling and technical needs.
Music Summit Dubai 2024 - Lead Audio Engineer | Conference & Event Sound
For the 2024 edition of Music Summit Dubai, held in November, I managed the complete audio setup and operation across two main conference rooms and the gathering area, hosting international music pioneers including Pete Tong and other industry leaders. My responsibilities included: -Designing and deploying the PA systems and signal flow for both conference spaces, ensuring seamless transitions between panel discussions, keynotes, and performances. -Handling microphones, stage monitors, and playback systems for multiple speakers and artists. -Collaborating closely with organizers and tech teams to align schedules and ensure consistent, high-quality sound throughout the event. -Setting up and managing the audio environment for informal gatherings, networking sessions, and social segments of the summit.
Ongoing Audio Engineering – Levels AV
As the in-house Audio Engineer at Levels AV, I handle the design, setup, tuning, and technical support for a wide range of events and activations hosted by the company. My responsibilities include: -Sound system design and configuration for diverse event formats, ensuring optimal coverage, clarity, and adaptability. -Audio setup for performances, DJ sets, panel talks, and installations — including microphone setup, playback systems, and routing. -System tuning and calibration, adapting to each space’s acoustic conditions for a consistent high-quality listening experience. -On-site support and operation during live events, ensuring smooth transitions, quick troubleshooting, and artist/performer assistance.
